Hi Guys,
Now I am well aware of bringing half finished projects from earlier versions to the latest version is not the greatest idea.
But I have back-ups of it in the earlier version, so I have no problems that way, this was basically just done on a trial basis
just to see what problems there could be if any. I have just completed a new project in 11 and all A OK. I have 12 and thought
I would just try out my half finished project from 7 in 12, all goes in fine, with me making a few minor adjustments, but when
I come to render the project the render flashes up very quickly then disappears, consequently nothing happens, just wondering
could that be the cause of changing versions or maybe something else could be happening. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

If the project folder contained the preview and cache files from the old version, try deleting them. You really just need the prel file and the source files. The new version will recreate the cache and preview files as needed. If you still have the problem, there may be an issue converting the old prel format to the new format. Try creating a new test project from scratch to test whether or not it's specific to the old prel file or a problem with PrE 12.
