Unable to install PRE 11

I'm unable to installl a full of version of PRE 11, I aleady have PRE9 and PRE10 installed, which I need to retain for previous projects.

Here's the error I get:-


I've been in to Task Manager and stopped the ElementsAutoAnalyser.exe process, but there's no sign of the dynamiclinkmanager.exe process so after hitting retry I get a similar error.

The install was carried out after a clean re-boot, no other apps running. Win 7 system

Have you manually gone to Windows Update and downloaded the hidden and non-critical updates, which don't install automatically? Have you got the latest version of Quicktime?

Do you have any professional (CSx) Adobe software on your computer?

Also note that there is a both a 64-bit and a 32-bit version of the software. Make sure you're matching the software to your operating system -- whether you're running Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit.

No, I havn't installed the optional updates, will do that now and report back.

I have Lightroom v4, Photoshop CS5 and Bridge installed

I assume PRE detected my 64-bit system when it installed, there were no options.

In fact PRE 11 does actually run, but the Organiser doesn't.

Hi Steve,

I installed the optional Windows updates, un-installed PRE 11, took a look at Task Manager and this time saw both those processes which I removed.

Then I re-installed PRE 11 and it succeeded this time.
