Using Media Analyser

Postby robbie410 » Mon Feb 18, 2013 9:47 am

I appreciate there is some discussions about whether Media Analyser should be left on of off. I would like to be able to use Media Analyser in Organiser and when the clips are imported onto the Timeline in PRE11 that I can look and adjust each clip individually. All I get on the timeline is a continuous blue line around the whole length of the clips inserted from Organiser. How can I get the blue line to only apply to those clips I want to adjust.
Can I Analyse once the clips are on the Timeline, without using Organiser?

Yes, you can manually run the Media Analyzer by right-clicking on your clip in Premiere Elements.

Thank you so simple when you know how. Any suggestions how I can get the extended blue surround, highlighting active clips of a number of consecutive clips to change to highlighting only one?

The blue outline you see in Quick View is because you have the clip selected. Click off the clip or select another clip.
