I just bought a Magix Movie Edit Pro 16+ and recorded a vid of me playing a song that I want to post on u-tube.I recorded it fine but when I use the Pic in pic the 2 smaller vids play slower not being able to sinc the vids with the audio. Why does it do that and how do I fix it

Have you tried exporting the video and seeing if this occurs in the final video? It could be that your processor can not keep up with the video and audio playback, what video format are you using... high definition or standard definition? And have you tried reducing the playback resolution to see if this helps?

Done all that, using a newer comp.with vista 64 bit.Sent it to desktop and vid plays but doesn't even show the harmony lines in the pic in pic at all.The small windows play fine by themselves but all vids play slow when placed together

When I export a pic-in-pic the smaller video plays back the audio fine. Is it that the audio is not playing or is it that it is not in sync? Above you say... "vid plays but doesn't even show the harmony lines in the pic in pic at all"

When I play back the timeline the pic-in-pic video has issues with playing smoothly and the audio is not in sync but it is fine when exported. What format are your video files and how did you capture them?

The audio plays fine just the vid slows. The larger vid and the pic in pic making it looking unsynced but only when the small vid comes on,when the harmony part is done the larger vid speeds back up playing normally again.Sent the vid to my desktop and the harmony parts don't show up at all.
I captured it using my logitech webcam that uses magix(that is why I bought the magix 16+ it's the program that came with it).It plays on my desktop using windows media player.

OK I downloaded quick time player and uploaded the video to it and it seems to have worked.I think that maybe windows media player doesn't work with it and quick time does

Well done on sticking with it and finding the source of the problem.
