Postby alaskamovieguy » Sun Jan 31, 2010 11:20 pm

Does anyone have experiences regarding Edius neo 2 software for editing avchd files? It sounds compelling....if I'm hearing it right. Here's a link for it at video guys http://www.videoguys.com/Item.aspx?SKU= ... 2423F454E4

Thanks, I'll try it out, just curious if it would handle my avchd any better but I suspect it's mostly about the hardware.

Well it does say...
"EDIUS Neo 2 Booster software features a newly developed AVCHD codec engine. Efficient editing is possible while preserving the original image quality, with no loss of resolution or frame rate. Enables real-time playback of three or more streams without special hardware"
... so it does sound interesting.
