what software is good for 3G2 video from a cell phone

Postby Barb O » Tue Feb 12, 2008 10:05 pm

I was asked what is good software for converting 3G2 format video (from a LG cell phone) so that it can be edited with Windows Movie Maker on XP or Premiere Elements and then ultimately written to a DVD for play on TV?

I have no idea so I came to muvipix hoping so that someone would know. The person asking has Premiere Elements 2 but if 3 or 4 is the answer, please desribe the relevant possibilities.

And yes, I realize there may be resolution and quality of image questions, but converting it would be a first step.

Hi Barb,
The best way to convert 3G2 files to something useful is with QuickTime Pro ($30).
