Has anyone had any experience with this software? I like the idea of mixed-format and mixed-codec editing on the same timeline and as well as some of the other features. I think it's supposed to natively edit AVCHD, too, but couldn't confirm this from their website.

Not used it personally but here's a glowing review for Version 1.0 from Digital Content Producer:

$495 usd for those who can handle that pricerange.

Supports a mixed timeline, including SD and HD together - seems it can be done!
