Zoweeee! The production is great, but it makes me happy about moving to Smithville, Tennessee. I love the peace in this community. Nashville got to a point where it has become overwhelming; moved there from NYC in '68 and loving it. Unfortunately it has changed and becoming more tumultuous by the moment..whew.

Ahhh that is really sad. I liked that guys voice a lot. In addition to the countless albums he has sung on a couple of my favorites was the Soundtrack to the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" and the following song:

BTW, speaking of MTV, if you get an opportunity to see the O'Jays on Live at Daryl's House on MTV I can recommend it. Some great old soul music performed very well. ::CLAP:

I agree. It has its moments but not generally worth watching.

I'm with you Chuck. I believe I could set up a music channel that would blow them all out of the water. What is old is new if presented properly. Combining the original personality radio with video could be dynOmite. If Gordon McClendon were alive he'd be one to do it. It was my privilege to have worked in his chain; the world's all-time greatest radio man. BTW pardon my ego..

Buddy good to hear from you. You are in luck.

Monday MTV has rebranded VH-1 to now become MTV Classic, a channel which will feature MTV’s best hits and fan favorites from the 90s and early 00s.

The 90s and early 00s aren't what comes to mind when I think of "classic."
