Santana is one of my favs. I've never heard this, but it is dynamite! Then again I've always been attracted to the Cuban people. They're totally unique amongst Latins and have weathered/tolerated the oppression well as far as I can tell. Someone once put a thingy on Muvipix about Cuba and it totally blew my mind. One thing, among others, stood out in my mind. All those blooming vintage cars running around, looking new. Having said this I know there's much more to the story I'm not aware of. This could be why I'm a fan of Marco Rubio. Pardon the politics.

Very nice rendition. Often when groups redo monster classic songs like this one they fall short - sometimes disastrously so. But this is such a completely different take. Enjoyed it.

RIP Keith Emerson. ELP was an awesome band and one of my all time favorites. Trilogy and Brain Salad Surgery are two legendary albums, so many great songs.

Oh my. Sorry to hear this. I saw ELP at Cincinnati Gardens back in the 70s. What a show! They did many songs from those albums, Chuck. Rest In Peace Keith.

When I see all this sometimes I wonder why I'm still here..except by the grace of The Lord. All these guys are younger than I, sad. RIP

According to the news reports this wasn't a natural death. It's very sad.

Very sad indeed. I liked them a lot. Both as ELP and as the band 3. I cannot believe he decided to off himself. I saw this picture and had to chuckle. If this happened in modern day there would only be a keyboard and iPad. Times have changed.

from TMZ: The Emerson, Lake & Palmer co-founder had recently been suffering from a serious medical problem -- a degenerative nerve issue in his right hand ... according to our sources. We're told he could only play the keyboard with 8 fingers at this point and knew it was only going to get worse.

As a result, he was struggling with depression.
