The baby's back!

By popular demand, Alex is back as my avatar. This is from last month; the old avatar was from last year. Here, he's doing "the wave" after a hearty meal of pulled pork w/fried onions and spicy garlic BBQ sauce! img0291
Yes, this kid eats almost anything, and loves strong flavors! :blob6:

Hey, anyone, who appreciates good "pulled-pork," is tops in my book!

Cute little guy! That is a spicy meal for a little one! Does he also share your sense of humor?

Definitely an improvement :)

But if all y'all guys and gals want REAL pork BBQ, come on here to East Carolina!

EDIT: OK - "pork" not "port" - some guys are SOOOO fussy... :!: :!: :!:

It doesn't really show up very well, but he does have speckles of sauce on his face in this picture, too.

Hey, two of my favorite words: Port and BBQ all in the same place! Now, with MY "pork" BBQ, I usually reach for a big fruit-bomb Pinot Noir, or a Zinfandel, but maybe I'll try the Port... On a serious note, I do agree with E. Carolina for the Q, though I also enjoy that stuff they do in western Carolina too.

Bob,
They have some of the best pork BBQ in NE Arkansas... I can't wait till we go home to the DIxie Pig and get a jumbo pig sandwich... right now, I would give anything for something good to eat... In Texas, they are big brisket eaters..Took me awhile to get used to that...

Thanks Donna. I have tried and like Texas brisket but never Ark.

I don't want to hijack Jack's thread, so perhaps we should open a separate BBQ rant thread. Then everybody could sing the virtues of their particular Q
