You and your sassy Avatar

Postby sidd finch » Mon Sep 08, 2008 5:22 pm

I have noticed that everyone is getting quite sassy with all their new avatars. Like Jack, Steve, and BobS. It reminds me how much I look at the avatar to see if I am going to read the post & thread.

Where is all this madness going.

I noticed that NBC has a listing of the logo’s that they used and their corresponding years. I think that it would be fun to have a gallery of Avatars so we can see your Avatar progression.

As for me I am still the same old recalcitrant Sidd Finch.

Which BobS u mean? Not me?

I did recently change my avatar, but I would hardly call a 62 old has-been "sassy"!

All I can say is... "Jack, bring back the baby!". It always gave me such a chuckle whenever I saw your avatar.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Are you talking about me, Sidd? You think this avatar is "sassy"?

Hmm. I was trying for adorable.

Of course the term sassy is relative, but how else can you explain the plethora of updated avatars. Nice, fun, cute, hi jinx, adorable, no not even close. Steve I would get bounced out of here if I called your avatar adorable. Bob....62 year old has been...this is the web for all I know you are a really smart 16 year old with a penchant for not acting your age.

Ahhh but sassy says it all. It says I care enough about my avatar that I have sent a message (subtle yes) to the Muvipix world that there is a new avatar in town and darn it really is sassy. Or as the late Phil Hartman said “Sas-say”.

And as much as I like progress, Jack the kid photo was a home run. Especially when you impart your cutting edge remarks. I would read the remark and look at the kid and just laugh. No matter what its all good :)

One of these days I'm going to chroma key Steve's avatar, maybe put the Port Washington water tower in the background :)

Have at it, Mr. C.

In fact, anyone is welcome to chroma key in whatever you want behind me. It's my way of living vicariously!
