I am in the beginning stages of upgrading (adding to) my steady cam with the "arms" and body "vest" that allow my camera to float better when I move and hope to get a more stable shot for when I film paintballing. Its also one of those silly projects that guys do as a challenge. Some may know what I'm talking about.
(I can't believe the pro ones cost SOOOO much)
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody has gone there, if so, do you have any advice?
I can post some pictures when its gets more complete.
There seems to be three projects. The part that you wear... the arm with the joint and springs that allows it to float... and the camera mount. I'm debating to include what I already have, or make a new one. I have some plans for the gimble or may use the one from my uni-pod, it looks promising too.
So far, getting the springs right is the biggest challenge.
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks,
Mark
