Re: Seagate Freeagent 750GB External Hard Drive - $128Well I did. I purchased it online tonight and will take the one I bought at the store back, once I get this one. My total came up to $138 w/tax and the one yesterday was $173 w/tax. I figure if I wait a bit longer they will be free!

Re: Seagate Freeagent 750GB External Hard Drive - $128You know what they say, if it seems too good to be true...
My order status says "discontinued item". I don't think the order is going to happen. Gateway DX4860 i5-2300 2.80GHz; 6GB Ram; Windows 7 Home 64-bit; 1.5 TB C-Drive, 150G F-Drive(video)
Re: Seagate Freeagent 750GB External Hard Drive - $128That's too bad Bob, sure was a great deal.
Maybe they will still honor the discount with another model, like the one you already own 1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

Re: Seagate Freeagent 750GB External Hard Drive - $128Yeah, I just called them. The Customer Service reps says that they are still "sourcing" it. Apparently they don't have any in the Chicago area and are just looking elsewhere. She indicated I won't know for 7-10 business days. I think at that point we will be having another discussion along the lines you were thinking - a substitute. Unfortunetly they don't seem to stock WD at 750GB, from what I can see.

Re: Seagate Freeagent 750GB External Hard Drive - $128I heard somewhere that stores are trying to get rid of the Freeagent drives. Some Best Buy stores may have the Freeagent Pro 750 GB for 53.99 on clearence. My local Best Buy didn't have it on sale, but some other ones may have them on sale.
Re: Seagate Freeagent 750GB External Hard Drive - $12853.99? Now I'm a little suspect. I wonder if there is some issue with them.
