Mmmm, Not every effect was moving too fast. I think most of them matched the quick paced music! :)

Just watched both videos again and one thing that really stands out is the colours, very colourful!

Cheers.

I have found that it is not necessary to match the beat with everything, and it is definitely not necessary to match every beat
Sometimes a change every measure or two is just fine :-({|=

I think it moved a little too fast although, there were some really great effects in it. It's different

Definitely Hollywood FX. I have found that the younger people (We shoot a lot of high school sports) like the effects and are looking for themselves in the video. HFX is a good package, but it does get a bit repetitious. My favorite effect is the rotating 3D wall of cubes.

My daughters like the fast pace too. And Vernon, don't you mean "Bollywood"?

I agree with Kerrie. Regardless of what you think of any specific video, I love looking at them to get new ideas for music, effects, etc. It's so difficult for me to sit staring at a stack of clips and stills and try to figure out what to do with them so that someone else might enjoy looking at what I've created.

Can any of the effects be done in PrEl? I like the one where the box or cube opens and another one pops out.. I always enjoy watching what others create.

Donna, having played around with the 'picture in box' effect it is possible to build it from the ground up in PrEl but, if the effect is available as a plug in, it is soooo much quicker and easier using that (the plug-in). :???:

If I remember correctly, you can use the Wax plugin to create a 3D cube. I think this is what Paul used to create his video 'Living in a Box' for one of the video contests a few years back. If Paul sees this, he can give you further information about how he created that effect.
