Ahh, yes. I remember using colour filters with B&W film. I used mainly Ilford FP4 and loaded my own cassettes using a Watson bulk film loader.

That takes talent John to shoot with filters and film! The best digital monochrome camera Leica M11 at $9,000. I've seen photos and the blacks are velvety.
