books.

What is/are the advantage(s) of purchasing the separate books v. the combined book -- more detail, better production quality, something else?

Thank you.

Prior to the 2018 version of Premiere Elements/Photoshop Elements, we published two Guides for each version: A Premiere Elements book and a combined Premiere Elements/Photoshop Elements book.

The Premiere Elements book ran 250-300 pages and was in full color. The combined book included the entirety of the Premiere Elements book PLUS Photoshop Elements, including information on how the two programs worked together. The combined book was nearly five hundred pages and, due to its size, was only available in black & white (which is why it costs less, even though it's a bigger book).

With the release of the 2018 version, we are no longer offering a combined book. We have a full-color Guide to Premiere Elements 2018 and full-color Guide to Photoshop Elements 2018.

Do the separate books include "information on how the two programs worked together" the way the combined book does?

Thank you.

P.S. Last time I checked the Muvipix links to Amazon for the books were not working.

The Photoshop Elements Guide includes information on creating graphics and prepping photos for Premiere Elements as well as detailed instructions in how to modify Premiere Elements' movie menu templates and create your own.
