I love when the fall colors come into view. They are so vibrant and colorful. It is difficult to find the fall colors in this area but happened upon a very small grove of Sumac trees last year that all change colors. All recorded on an iPhone 6s with FILMIC Pro. 1080p shot at 60fps. Your thoughts and comments are welcome.

In an area that stays so green most of the time except for when we get drought green (brown the new green) the colors are really nice to see. It is just not the same as going to a place like Door County in Wisconsin where fall really happens on a grand scale.

When we were very small kids we went on a fall vacation to door county and the foliage was amazing. I was not to excited at the time but looking back it was a very cool experience.

Sidd, I may have shot some sumac trees here last week. I'll try to compare leaves. Pretty colors, like yours, but I didn't recognize the leaf shapes. As we "catch up" to the rest of the nation, landscaping companies are importing plants that are new to this area, but doing well. We have a few fall colors, including a very few yellow and red maples, but usually our best fall color is from the dreaded popcorn tree. Another import, come to think of it.
Steve,
Thanks for taking me on your vacation! If I ever get up that way, Door County will be on my wish list. Your grandson is adorable. Looks a lot like you.
