You win, Microsoft. I'm Windows 10.

Talk about anything here.

You win, Microsoft. I'm Windows 10.

After holding off as long as I felt I could, I finally upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on my editing computer.
But only on my editing computer.

The reasons I did so:
1) https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2396599
2) Supposedly, Premiere Pro CC runs better on W10 than W7.
3) I don't run any printers or other peripherals on my editing computer that would create a driver problem.

I did, however, create a system image and a clone just in case it went south and I had to revert back. I didn't want to have to reinstall everything if I needed to go back to W7.

I may not have time to give it a try in the coming weeks, but I wanted to beat this deadline:

The Magnifier is an assistive technolgy, and since I've used it, I qualified for the free upgrade.

Welcome to the club, Peru!

FWIW, I think Windows 10 is the closest in look, feel and performance to Mac OSX that Microsoft has ever created. I don't have the depth of internal knowledge that someone like Bob has but, in my experience, it's as good as it gets, operating system-wise.

I'm just going to learn to get used to W10 natively.
I do, however, use this other Stardock software on my other computers, but not on the editing computer:

I was fortunate to download it when it was still completely free. Now it is paid software with a free trial.
