What, only one?

Cheryl, shouldn't you consider changing your name from momoffduty to grannyonduty?

:CS: Yes, the grandma on duty! I've been babysitting quite a bit lately with the older 2. A new SD card??? I was thinking with 3 now that grandma needs to go full frame. :fg:

Thanks everyone for the congrats. :-D She weighed in at 9 lbs on the dot and at 10 days early too, which was planned.

Working on that! I had the kids recently and the oldest asked about my camera buttons. I gave her a little lesson on light. That is all about the light and how much light you let into the camera, etc. I was using my hand to explain the aperture opening at different settings. We took a few photos to show how some where too dark/black and some too light/white. She said it was interesting how the small number lets in more light than the larger number. My heart melted...she got it! The camera is too heavy for her and besides she is going into 1st grade. Maybe in a year or two spoon feeding her info she will be ready.

I was telling my daughter's friend about the lesson and she wants to learn. She said to spoon feed her too along with the grandchild. :-D

Mom did you forget you have a GoPro... :ha:

My kids are getting good at using one. I also bought a used iPhone 5c for them to practice photos and video.

Yes, Sidd I didn't think about the GoPro. Great idea on the old cell phone. I have an old one she could practice her framing.

It might be fun to keep the images that they take and compare as the grow up. Kind of like seeing through their eyes as kids . Might be a cool memory as they get older. I have also tried to keep some audio files so they can hear us talking about the things we were doing at the time.
