MKV to MP4 ConverterHi Guys. Just wondering if anyone knows of preferably a free MKV to MP4 Video Converter. I have iskysoft, HD Video Converter and VLC but none of them work. Even VLC following YouTube Tuts. it still doesn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks Guys. L.N.
If you are faced with a forced landing at night, switch on the landing lights, if you don't like what you see, switch them back off.
Re: MKV to MP4 ConverterOk Little Nac, fill me in on MKV video format please ... Where did this come from ?

Re: MKV to MP4 ConverterHi Chuck.
First of all I may have just solved my problem. A program (free) called Shana Video Converter works quite well. If anyone has any others I would love to hear. As to where it comes from, I am just mucking around with some little comedy skits in green screen, and it seems quite a lot of them from the internet are in MKV format. Unfortunately PE13 doesn't seem to accept MKV, so need to convert them. Cheers, L.N. Re: MKV to MP4 ConverterThis may sound like an odd suggestion, but I'm curious the result you get when you try this: If you can, edit the filename and try simply changing the file extension to ".mp4". Once you do that, try using it in your editor. I've had this both work and not work for me in the past.
Dell Studio XPS 8100, Intel Core i7 2.8GHz, 4GB RAM, 64-Bit Win7. Camera gear: 2x Canon 550D's, 1x Canon EOS 6D body, Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 & 17-50mm f2.8, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 & 24-70mm f/2.8L, and two 420EX flashes.
Re: MKV to MP4 ConverterThanks for that Kent, but no it doesn't work. So far "Shana" seems to be working OK. Cheers. L.N.
