John has been having internet connection problems. At least that was his story 2 weeks ago. But, I think he is enjoying sitting on one of his many terraces on his estate enjoying the beautiful Sicilian countryside. Retirement has its perks.

Francesco is probably out filming one of the many festivals in his area.

 Python is one of the funniest, definitely my kind of humor. Then you have Peter Sellers. The Brits have produced tons of talented people in all areas of entertainment. One of my all-time favs is Ernie Kovacs. All these folks, and a few more like George Carlin perverted my sense of humor. I was on the air at KJOE, Shreveport with Carlin when he did his last radio show. What a blast! Whew, I'm letting myself get caught up in the past..forgive me. The memories are great. At the time it didn't mean anything special. He was heading for NYC and I was taking over his show.

I have only just found this topic. I must have missed it first time around when I was having the internet connection problems Cheryl mentioned and I was "off-air" for about five weeks.

You forgot to mention that "glass of red wine in hand" Cheryl. :exc:

As for British humour here's a selection of sketches from the late Dave Allen:-
