Started my 4th One-Second-Per-Day video for this year.

Talk about anything here.

Started my 4th One-Second-Per-Day video for this year.

I skipped 2015 like an idiot, and a few big life events happened for me, such as buying my first house, my sister getting married, my mom beating cancer for the 3rd time, etc.
Won't be making that dumb mistake ever again.

So this year I'm armed with gear I didn't have the last time I produced one of these. This time we've got a full-frame 6D and a 24-70 f/2.8L lens. Pretty excited about that.
But this year we don't have a GoPro. I sold my HDH3Black about mid-way through 2014, so you see a sudden halt in GoPro footage in the video from that year.
Although, I've been looking at them again this year, and the GoPro Session has piqued my interest. I like the size and the price, as well as the fact that they put the Superview wide-angle feature, but the frame rates don't really excite me due to my affinity for 24p. It does almost all other neighboring frame rates, but not that one - there's workarounds, though.

Has anyone used one of the Sessions yet? If so, do you have any samples we can see?

You say "Started my 4th One-second-per-day video for this year."

Since you posted on the 9th of Jan you should have 9 one second vids not 4. :)

Actually, I think Kent meant he's starting his one-second-a-day video for the fourth year, TreeTops.

And these videos are amazing! If you haven't seen them, they're worth checking out.

Glad to hear you're on the project again, Kent!

Sorry, about that, Treetops. The word "for" in there throws off what I meant. Steve's right. This will be my 4th year. I did 3 consecutive years, then made the dumb decision to skip 2015.

Can't help it, Kent. This musical drives me crazy -- but your project always makes me think of its theme song:
