Talk about anything here.

Thank you, Sherrin. You are too kind. It's been hard to keep up with the past few years - and we would LOVE to update the site a bit to comply with the latest technologies (smartphones, tablets, small screens, etc.), but life issues seem to get in the way... but we keep on keeping on, thanks to, not only the efforts of Chuck, Steve and yours truly, but the folks that keep on supporting us "just because". We wouldn't be here today if it weren't for the entire Muvipix Team. I would just like to say that THEIR efforts are not going unnoticed. We're kind of struggling lately, but we will keep going as long as we have strong supporters like you, Sherrin, and a ton of other folks. Thanks for taking the time to shout out, it's truly appreciated!
Regards, -Ron

Was it really six years ago that Chuck and I met you in Minneapolis, Sherrin?
Man, how time flies!
We're just so thankful to you and all the others who've so generously supported this site over the years! Hard to believe that what started as an idea way back in 2005, when a publisher introduced Chuck and me to each other by phone and proposed we work on a book together, has grown into such a community of friends and co-workers. Many thanks to you all!

It is pretty remarkable how this one little site has transformed so many people who just needed a little help to tell their own story and ask a few questions along the way. For me it is still one of the first sites I login to when I am on the internet. Community Forum friends have come and gone but it is still the best place to ask questions, share knowledge, and see what others are up to. As Steve has said from the beginning.... Don't make a movie, tell a story. And that simple piece of advice has been a sign post on the journey.

Well stated, Sidd. I remember when I first joined the forum, I had posted the same question on both the Adobe forum and Muvipix. I think I read about this forum in the ...In a Snap book. Steve was working with me on the Adobe forum and Chuck was helping me here. Steve eventually noticed that I was pulling on the rope from both ends and suggested that I stick with Chuck's thread. I was a bit embarrassed, to say the least. I started asking a lot of questions here and felt the need to support the site by subscribing. The difference between this forum and any other in which I've either participated or lurked is that everyone is treated with respect. And that's how a forum should work.

I met Chuck and Steve first on the Adobe forum too. I was really struggling to get started with Premiere Elements 1(!). I was so thankful to find them and learned so much since then. It is great to have so many nice people as friends and I always check in here every morning. A big thank you also to Ron for all his work keeping the site running. I hope muvipix keeps going forever!

"Don't make a movie. Tell a story."
That's good. Very good. But I've learned so much more here. Not only great answers to software questions but so many ideas for presentation, style, and humor that take my own videos into directions I might never have thought of. I often consider how one of the members or another here might tackle a particular subject I have in mind and then hope I can come up with something worthy of their inspiration.

As I ride off into the sunset, sitting backwards on my horse of course, I cannot express adequately how I feel about this group. Sherrin I share your feelings. I have found blessings amidst this group of neato torpedo folks.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, this place has truly been an evolution. Everyone here loves what they do and all of you really care about people, what could be better than that. The group that gathers here is amazing and we thank you all for being part of what Muvipix and helping to make it the wonderful place that it is.
