Anybody have any idea why I'm getting this message when I try to log into http://www.usps.com?
Every browser I've tried says the site can't be trusted!

Every browser I've tried says the site can't be trusted! You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Has the post office gone postal? It's OK on Chrome, IE 10, and Firefox on W7 for me. for me.
Are you on an unsecured network? Maybe it's a Windows 10 thing?
Re: Has the post office gone postal?Yeah, no problems with Chrome, Firefox, or Edge in Windows 10. This is interesting. Is it your security software that's throwing the message? That would be the common denominator.

Re: Has the post office gone postal?Interesting suggestion, Peru! At your suggestion, I have turned off and then on the automatic time/date setting.
Don't know if that's what did it, but the Post Office is back on line for me. Thanks, guys! HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Has the post office gone postal? That's strange. You said that it was doing it on every browser you tried. I don't understand the connection. However, I'm glad that you got it working. That's what matters.

Re: Has the post office gone postal?
Dave, all modern browsers check the security certificates of web sites that they connect to using secure connections. If there is an issue with the site's certificate, a warning should be displayed in any browser viewing that site. If it only shows up in one browser, it is probably a bug in that browser. There normally would be an explanation as to the nature of the problem. In Steve's screenshot, the explanation should be in the Technical Details section. One of the most common reasons for a warning is an expired certificate. The USPS site certificate is due to expire soon (Oct. 29 2015). If the computer's system clock was wrong or corrupted, it could trigger this kind of warning. You can see the site's certificate using the browser. The method for doing so will depend on the specific browser.

Re: Has the post office gone postal?I get a warning like that often, except for PayPal. I talked with the people at PayPal about it and they told me to empty my internet cache and re-boot. Sometimes that works, sometimes not right away but it always begins to work again within a couple of hours at the longest.
