Kinetic Sand, a sand play toy made from 98% sand, and 2% Polydimethyl siloxane, a "silicon-based organic polymer...particularly known for its unusual rheological (or flow) properties."

Did you catch that it is gluten free? Must be a concern if accidentally ingested. :fg:

Talk about cashing in on fads. You would think that, by now, people would know what Gluten is. Apparently, they don't.

FYI, Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), also known as dimethicone, is a pretty versatile substance. Besides being a major component of Silly Putty, it's used as an antifoaming agent and surfactant, a component of certain hydraulic fluids and silicone lubricants, an implant filler, a treatment of head lice, an ingredient in many cosmetics, shampoos, and medications, and is often found in processed foods. It's not absorbed by the gut and is harmless when ingested as long as it's "food grade" and not contaminated. Add a little silicon dioxide (i.e. sand) and it's called Simethicone -- the active ingredient in Gas-X.

Wow Bob, someone wasn't kidding when they referred to you as "Wikipedia + Siri" in another post. I think I might skip Google in the future and just ask Bob!

I'm grateful for this video, we needed an idea for niece/nephew Christmas presents, and now we have a leader of the pack!
