Such A Nice Place Here

Postby Bobby » Sun Jan 27, 2013 4:09 pm

Still haven't re-activated my video efforts much, but improvements in the family situation may get me back in perhaps by mid-year.

Anyhow, I have been busy converting my old home automation X-10 system to MiCasaVerde Vera. The Vera documentation is almost nonexistent, and most of it geared to the real techies in the bunch. They have an active user forum, but it is is not very warm and friendly. Many threads asking for help go dormant for lack of replies, and often the replies are cryptic at best. It is a cold and lonely place at times.

It makes me appreciate even more what a great community we have here, due to everybody's interest, involvement, and caring - the mods, the users, and of course the admins and founders. What a great place we have here - we all should be proud.

Just my $.02...

Thanks for acknowledging how great this forum is Bobby :TU:
