Cards, Nats, Reds, O's, A's, Yankees, Rangers and Braves

Well the final chapter has been written and the favorites are out. My condolences to Cheryl and Ed, it was a really fun playoff season this year, lots of new teams. Hopefully next year one of our favorites will be there at the end =D>

Are there any Giant or Tiger fans in the audience?

A sad day here in StL. But, the Giants played great games. The World Series will be interesting since the Tigers one in 4 games. They have had extra time to rest up.

They showed some stats the other day, out of about 8 teams that have had more than 4 days rest before the series only the 95 Braves have won the whole thing, kind of interesting. The Tigers have played against their minor league players this past week rather than just sit around, that was probably a really good plan.

This could be one of those years where the home time always wins, like the 91 world series.
If only the American League would have won the All Star game they would have 4 games at home instead of 3.
