Purchase of it8 reflective targets

If you are ever in the need of it8 targets so you can profile your scanner, I can recommend purchasing from Wolf Faust at http://www.targets.coloraid.de/

I received excellent service, and the package for the "R1" product I purchased arrived in California from Germany in less than a week. I was able to use the target to profile my Epson V500 Photo scanner using Vuescan scanning software.

After profiling my printer with Vuescan -- and to my amazement -- when I scanned in the it8 target from Wolf Faust and printed the image on my Canon printer using Vuescan, the colors from the two prints matched. Without the ICC profiles, the magenta color would be way off.
