Re: Streets of San Francisco

Thanks Mom.

The music is called Shifting Gears from the movie Bullitt. I do agree about the general cleanliness of SF. But to be honest we did not drive through areas like the Tenderloin that are quite a bit grittier.

Re: Color Grading in the Revenant Movie

Not sure about the color grading but I did read some where that The Revenant was shot only using natural light. Variety reports that Mexican cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki — who won consecutive Academy Awards for Gravity and Birdman — helped shoot The Revenant in the freezing wilderness of Canada ...

Re: Streets of San Francisco

Thanks Steve & Chuck. Steve you must have some pretty strong legs to bike San Francisco. In our travels through the city, there are some hills that require a quick time out and catch your breath half way up the block. But it is a pretty amazing city. There is so much history especially film hist...

Re: muvipix Anniversary Approaching - "New Stuff", etc...

Regardless of how many years, it has really been time well spent for me. Not only to learn in a friendly corner of the web but to also get to see the growth of others along the journey.

Streets of San Francisco

I was inspired by Steve's car chase scene to post a video of a drive through San Francisco a while back. Since Bullitt was filmed there I thought the music choice would fit. 152654399 Some of the sights: St Peter & Paul Church - The church where Joe DiMaggio & Marilyn Monroe were married in ...

Re: Mexico Slices 4 - Playa del Carmen

I've been trying to focus on framing and the light more

I watched the video first and was thinking how much I like the way you framed a lot of your shots then read your comments. :-5

Nice piece of work. Mr Mom was again a show stopper. I think he needs his own epic...

Re: Flashback movie trailer

I loved the trailer. That was cool. It had the "old film" effect by being old film :)

I would of loved to see the look on your parents as they walked through the door when you were filming.....

It was awesome

Re: Dreams of Dali

I bet with the explosion of VR that there will come a time when there will be many paintings that can be toured through. I think it would be cool to see a painting like the Mona Lisa that has another hidden painting underneath. It would be cool to travel through the layers to see what lies underneat...

Re: My chase scene

Absolutely loved it. The audio made the video.

In the side shots inside the car you kind of looked like a young Tom Cruise. Was that a 67 LeMans? I had one of those once upon a time.

Here is the sound bed... lol :)
