Re: Aspect Ratio Help

What I was suggesting was using the scale property to expand the original image to full frame to see if that overcame the problem of the black bars. It wasn't clear to me whether that had been tried yet. :conf:

Re: Aspect Ratio Help

An afterthought. I don't have PrEl so I don't know if this works the same way. In PPro I would attempt to use the 'Scale' option in Video Effects to slightly enlarge the image on the timeline until the black bars had been removed. If necessary, use the position settings to (re) centre the image on t...

Re: resizing photos

Me too but the largest that I have created for a horizontal pan in a video was 8,500 x 2,500 pixels.

Re: Error when reading dvd disc

...in order to have a backup on my hard drive... Before I had my NAS I used to use an old SSD in an external caddy and back up to that using Macrium Reflect. Re: Resize Photo?

Don't use PSE but is there a 'scale to fit media' option in the print settings? Should have made this a little more clear. Is there a 'scale to fit media' option in the printer settings menu (not the PSE settings)? Also if your printer allows it you can preview before printing. Both of these option...

Re: Looking thru a Prism

...Veni, vidi, creavi... Ahh. The use of Latin. Not many people know this but, when Julius Caeser arrived in Britain in 55BC, he uttered the words "veni, vidi, vici." Now the ancient Britons, not being familiar with Latin, heard the words as "weany, weedy, weaky" and they were n...

Re: Export and Share Premiere Elements 2022

...Not sure if exporting a 640x480 video to something with a greater resolutions like 1280 x 720 would negatively affect the quality... Sadly, one cannot create pixels where there were none to start with. So, yes, quality will suffer but you would need to experiment to decide whether that loss of q...

Re: Export and Share Premiere Elements 2022

Pixel dimensions for PAL are 720 x 576 at 25fps so the frame size of 640 x 480 at 30fps is strange. Matching source will override any other 'bespoke' settings hence they are greyed out.

Do you know the source of the video that you are using?
