Re: Audio and video synchronizing

but can only check the file after digitizing from my analog camcorder. Ah! Yes, of course. Silly me! (Note to self - read postings more carefully before responding. ) It is a few years since I last converted analogue (VHS tapes) to video and that particular use was the only experience that I...

Re: Audio and video synchronizing

My suggestion is that, prior to digitising, you check the video properties using MediaInfo (free).

It is a really useful tool to have available and should help with the settings in the conversion software.

Re: Music Video Fridays, Music Memories and Obituaries!!!

Following on from your post, Ed, I first heard about "Aunt" Jenny Wilson when her obituary was published (in 'The Daily Telegraph', a national newspaper in the UK) in which she was described as still singing some of the original songs from the Pilgrim Fathers time. That piqued my interest!...

Re: Help! Can't convert .mov files to mp4

+1 for conversion using Handbrake.

I would be surprised if the culprit was PAL encoding but then, at my age, I am often surprised. :fg:

Re: re-install Premier Elements 2023 on new machine

I agree with Peru but I would make the HDD, if it is big enough, into a dedicated backup of the C: and D: drives. For my backups I used Macrium Reflect (paid edition) though the free version may be enough for your needs. https://www.macrium.com/ Obviously, other back up software solutions are availa...

Re: Using PE23 project (*.prel) files in PE22

Forgive me for I am new...... You are forgiven! :hyst: (Sorry, couldn't resist that ). I am no expert on PrEl - switched to PPro after PrEl version 2. The advice given here on Muvipix has been consistent over all of the versions and that is to finish your project in the version that you started it ...

Re: Making a DVD

Imgburn +1. I haven't created any optical media for a long time now so it is quite a while since I used that software. All of my current output is either for streaming or via a USB pendrive rather than a DVD. So, as far as I recollect, Imgburn isn't a DVD creation tool in the sense that it allows yo...
