Re: iTunes protected files

Sounds like the iTunes song was purchased when iTunes was still encoding DRM on their songs. Since you purchased the song on iTunes you might be able to re-download the song from iTuns and it might not have DRM on the song. Not sure if it works but just a thought.

Re: Adobe sneak peek Monument Mode

If it takes a series of pictures I wonder how it is able to line the pictures up and keep a high resolution.

Re: Blue Ridge Parkway with autumn colors

I had my son hold the Pilotfly for the driving shots, and the focus was incorrectly set on the dashboard The Pilotfly worked really well nice and smooth. I think brushless gimbals are going to be the future of handheld shots. I have found that trying to record video from inside the car is extremely...

Adobe sneak peek Monument Mode

Taking pictures of landmarks and sites can be difficult, the more popular the location the more likely it is that people, vehicles, and other objects will get in the way obstructing your view. “Monument Mode” uses a new algorithm to distinguish moving objects from fixed ones, one-click and those ob...

Re: Blue Ridge Parkway with autumn colors

I absolutely love the fall colors. We do not get much of them here. all of the panning video could have been broken up a bit more with stills I know what you meant Peru but I did not mind it as I was enjoying the huge vista's of color. As the camera was panning I was anticipating what would be next....

Re: Microsoft Hyperlapse Pro

It is a tool to speed up video to make it look like a hyper-lapse video, but it also includes a warp-stabilizer like effect to dramatically reduce the shakes. Here is a comparison to the warp stabilizer effect in premiere. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpyWvS71QSE To me it looks like a tool that yo...

Re: Math and Lens Aperture Opening Size

I've made the cardboard cut outs and have the star and heart. A novelty? Yes. My Branson video of fireworks I used the cut outs. That reminded me of an episode of Poirot I watched a while back. They used the old technique of painted glass and flame to make the actors look like they were in the dese...

The Condensed Edit

I came across this interesting article from Videomaker Magazine. It really put into words something I have noticed watching YouTube. The better and quicker the edit the more I want to watch of it. http://www.videomaker.com/article/18164-the-condensed-edit The concept of the cutting room floor is one...

Re: iPhone 6s vs. entry-level Canon DSLR

While the DSLR has a lot of advantages to the iPhone 6. To me it shows how the gap is getting a lot closer to even be comparing the two together. I also see this huge effort to make full frame cameras in the smallest package possible. Regardless of what is better, I really like that the competition ...
