A suggestion or two that I can think of; Scan the images at as close to original size as possible, 4 x 6 photo, scanned at 4 x 6 - 200 dpi will be 800 x 1200 pixels. That is plenty big for video, don't think it will help to scan at 1200 dpi that will just bring out the bad spots on the photo. Photos...

We stayed in the same place for almost 11 years, when we moved it took a 48 foot moving van and a 30 foot truck plus trips in our little family van. We then m...

I completely agree with Paul. One thing that always seems to work well is to start with the subject out of the shot and pan to include the subject, like Paul said though short and slow is best. I have been guilty of the long pans myself at times but it really depends on what you are trying to accomp...

No worries, you have come to the right place :) It will depend on the camcorder that you get, but if you go with a MiniDV as most everyone here would suggest, then you will only need a Firewire card. A 2 or 3 port Firewire card (Standard PCI connection) will cost about $15 - $20 USD. Any card that i...

There are very few, if any, capture cards that work with Premiere Elements. What do you think you need a capture card for? Better than a capture card is either a camcorder with pass through capability or a digital converter like the ADS Pyro Link. Do not get a capture card and think you can still us...

AGP is faster a better choice than PCI, preferrably 8x and it will have more features available and a better chance of being able to use the GPU effects. You need a separate Firewire card, do not use an integrated firewire connection on a graphics or audio card (I am not even sure there is such a th...
