This (edited by me) taken from a UK forum:- "Version 10.7 is totally crash-free! ...this program seems to be stable at last, because it's blissfully easy and intuitive to use...... It could all be a one-off fluke, of course, we'll have to wait and see, but I can't make this program crash right ...

A more general tip. Windows by default assigns 12% of your hard drive space to system restore points. Normally something closer to 100-200Mb is sufficient. To check and, if you wish to, to adjust the default settings go to Control Panel>System>System Restore. Click on the drive letter and then click...

Actually I built the clock using an image that I found in Google (using Chris B supplied kink above). I used Photoshop to create a three layer image, clock face on one layer, minute hand on another, hour hand on the third layer. Then it was a simple but repetitious task of using the free transform/r...

I have a CMOS based HD camera and the Neat Video noise reduction plug in works really well on reducing low light noise.

Hi Jamal, I tried the echo effect and played about with the various settings. It didn't do much for the timelapse per se - which following Chris B's suggestion I sped up significantly with the result that it runs a lot more smoothly and the clock now sweeps instead of jerking. Where the echo effect ...

There are some other comments in another thread but, when I'm done, I'll post a bit more so that you can see the street scene in context with everything else.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll give that echo effect a shot. There are some other comments in another thread but, when I'm done, I'll post a bit more so that you can see thie street scene in context with everything else. Chuck, the street is in a little town called Knutsford in Cheshire. Every year, ...

OK let's give it some context. The idea is to show that the street gradually clears the closer that you get to 14.00. The clip is part of a bigger project which revolves around a traditional May Day parade which meanders through the streets - hence the reducing traffic. The zoom into the balloons is...

Work in Progress

I have posted a short clip of some work in progress in the Gallery and would welcome feedback that helps me improve what I have done so far.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all of the tips etc. Chris B - I decided in the end to have a go at making it myself. I did find something approaching what I wanted but it was going to cost UK£99 so I took the DIY economic route. I have posted some work in progress in the gallery so that you can see what I am trying to...

Thanks Chris. I had already found those and with some time and effort I can probably make something of them. What I am really after is something like a timelapse video clip of a clock face with hands moving - say one frame for each minute. That way the clip length would be less than a minute for the...

HELP!! (Any pointers very welcome)

I am looking for a standard (i.e not digital) clock face that I can use as a timer track overlaying a video I am working on (does that make sense?).

Googling hasn't been successful so I thought - I know just the place where someone, somewhere will know.

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

If passthrough isn't an option with your camera, have you had a look on Amazon.com (the US site). The pyro is available there for US$140 or so with reasonable shipping rates - i.e. a lot less than US$88. Total cost will be about UK£100. Alternatively do you know someone in the USA who can buy it fo...

I agree about the limited RAM but if the HDD is running slowly it willl affect the paging file so it will be worth checking that.
