Re: Sidd Finch

On many occassions I turned to Sidd (via PM and email) for his advice on a range of "gadgets" that I knew he was familiar with, advice that was freely and enthusiastically given. Even though we never met face to face, Sidd,I and many other people will miss you and your contributions here....

Re: Miniature Series Part 2 - UPDATE new photo

thanks Dave and Chuck! It has become our tradition with the grands. When I pose them I don't give them full details so they are surprised at the final image. Merry Christmas to you too!

Re: Miniature Series Part 2 - UPDATE new photo

Thank you Steve, Bob & Sidd! It starts with the posing and I like flat light. That way I can add contrast where needed in PS with Curves. Lots of clipping adjustment layers. Here are two behind the scenes. The selfie with the reindeer background is a flat matte image. The zip line is more satura...

Re: Miniature Series Part 2 - UPDATE new photo

Tis the season of composites! I made over a dozen this year for family and friends. Here are a few. Some I build from scratch and some I buy backgrounds at Etsy. Matching colors and tone in Photoshop. It is much easier if posed correctly to match the scene. Getting the light and dark to match or the...

Re: Creative filming and edit video

Sorry for the delay in replying. This is not mine. It is someone who I follow on Flickr. This could be a Muvipix person's video with the creative cuts and filming. I liked the little surprises...the girl riding the bike over the lights. Unexpected little scenes!

Re: Christmas in the Park

Cool effect in the tunnel at 1:42. The wide angle added spice. Very nice filming throughout. Nice and steady. The park want the video as a promotional video.

The AI worked on the extending canvas. The power of PS is increasing and we won't know what is real or not. Same for video.

He requested some cliff composites. This is one of them. I masked him off and a little of the tree branch and generate with the prompt cliff edge. Next I extended the canvas on the bottom. Selected a little of the image and the empty space and generate with the prompt again of cliff edge. It took se...

Re: AI Denoiser & Generate Fill

I had a photo session for a friend's son. I asked him to sit on the log that was about 4 feet off the ground. He jumped up and started walking before I had time to adjust my settings. So I took a quick snap. It was way over exposed. I was able to salvage in ACR somewhat. The next problem was he was ...
