Here are the music charts from WABC New York for the top 100 pop songs from each year http://musicradio.computer.net/music.html

Maybe you can use a variety of the top couple songs from each year.

Wow, wish I was there. Sounds like a lot of great stuff on the horizon, some of it will filter down to Premiere Elements in time I am sure. Hopefully they will integrate some of After Effects into Premiere Elements or create a After Effects Elements some day. Soundbooth is looking more and more inte...

Thanks for the info Bob, sure saves me some time. I agree it would be great if the author would do a little more work. It would be great to be able to use this in After Effects, good free plug-ins are hard to find.

Hi Chris, Thanks for the great demo, I love the Smoke effect! Are you using version 2 or 3? Can you use any other color for the text other than just white? Can you make the rays different colors? Just asking in case you have been experimenting :) The original thread is in Tools http://muvipix.com/ph...

Sorry I didn't get the details posted last night but it might not help if you have CS2 anyway, the instructions are for Photoshop Elements. There must be a way to cut a shape into a graphic with CS2, isn't there? After cutting the shape the shape area is selected, you then need to Invert the selecti...

Hi Bill, I am going to give v2 a try tonight. There may be something different in v3 that causes it not to work just like AE7. Too bad because it really saves a lot of time and could be a great effect.

I'll get the ball rolling and let others fill in the blanks :) There are a couple of ways to accomplish this. In Photoshop Elements create a blank file with any color background you like. Use the cookie cutter to cut out a section in whatever shape you like. You then need to add a new layer, inverse...

Well, after playing around with it for awhile I have come to a few conclusions. 1. It doesn't work with After Effects 7 2. It doesn't work very well with Premiere Elements v3 I created a PSD text graphic with no background and light purple text. After importing into After Effects and applying the Lu...

Luce Plug In

Thanks to Bill Margol over at the Premiere Elements U2U forum, this is a great plug in to add light behind text among other things.
