Re: Thinking of Bob

Sorry guys, I haven't been around for a few days because of the storm, but not for the expected reason! We had planned to be in the western part of NC this week on a timeshare trade. Went there on Saturday, got there in fog, and settled into our exchange while the snow projections got consistently w...

Re: PRE Version 11 available

I've been missing too, for a lot more than just months! This was a sad reminder to me that I never even did a single project on PRE10. I need to get my act together.

Re: R220 Bites the Dust

I have used Corel Draw for years to create my labels but let the upgrades lapse and the version I have doesn't work on Win7 :-( I will check out Accoustica, thanks!

Re: R220 Bites the Dust

Sorry Chuck. As a fellow 220 owner, I am concerned that mine will meet the same fate. But I didn't invest in an ink system as you did, just bought the cheapest cartridges I could find, good enough for DVD use.

Hope you find a path out of this dilemma.

Re: Is HD video and burning not as far along as I thought?

Hi Gerry. Sorry to be late by a day, but RJ's point about the USB stick is a good one. BD and any technology using those old silver discs is so 20th century! Many people skipped BluRay entirely, and went from DVD to HD streaming, including myself. In my case, I output HD files and copy them to a med...

Re: Mobile version....where is the "view active topics"

On my iPad, I have to use a browser called Atomic. It allows you to set an "identify browser as" parameter that makes your iPad look like a regular PC browser. I set mine to Firefox, and then I get the same view as on my PC.

Re: EXIF Info In Filename

I love answering my own questions!

I found one, simple but effective. Not much choice in the rename pattern, but I have other rename programs that can take over from there. If anybody wants it, you can find it at:

EXIF Info In Filename

Hi all! Been away for a couple of weeks, lots of posts to read. Anyhow, I have a problem and need your advice. We are taking photos with two cameras intermixed. My thumbnail program on my PC (Thumbs Plus) can sort by origin date/time with no problem and so it mixes the two inputs properly. BUT when ...

Re: 3gp Preset

Thanks Chuck. Yep, the new stuff is getting better, cells, pads, etc. My cell has 8mp, true focus and zoom, and a dual flash. Does an acceptable job in a pinch.

Re: 3gp Preset

10, which I am just getting familiar with. I don't see a correct mobile device preset. Main items are AVCHD, DSLR, DV, Fliip, Hard Disk, HDV.

3gp Preset

I decided to video something using my phone (ugggh) but now need to deal with it. The filetype is .3gp and it looks like it is 800x480. 3gp could be a container for MPEG4, but don't see any presets that might match. Any idea what preset to use for it? Edit: Well, I see part of my problem. I read the...
