Re: adding audio from a separate digital recorder

You also want to make sure that you do not have a glitch in the video or the audio. If you do you will need to do multiple cuts to line up the audio. Once you get the hang of it it is pretty quick to get the audio lined up. Hope it works for you

Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 Session

The video looks good Chuck. Pretty smooth considering how small it is. Colors look good too. But I think in the bright sun these cameras do really well. Looks like you had some fun too.

Re: Yet another classic Grisetti production

A drastic measure indeed. Quite fun. Loved the 70's pants. I remember when those were quite the rage. Again another nice effort, and also nice to hear your voice-over work too.

Panasonic's better-than-kit lens Micro 4/3

http://i2.wp.com/resourcemagonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Panasonic-12-60mm-Lens-Announced.jpg?resize=838%2C629 Panasonic's new 12-60mm f3.5-5.6 sounds like a great compromise: with its 24-120mm range it covers most of the territory you need for everyday shooting, and at $500 it's priced we...

Re: Hiding the Date/Time stamp on VHS-C

That looks pretty good. I sometimes copy the video track then put a mask over the top track. I set borders so that they are the same size as the time stamp. I take a piece of the video that is close to the time stamp area and then just slide that piece over the timestamp. not as nice as yours but in...

Liquid Lego

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj1cFNQFU2Q Created by Rexjericho, these awesome animations are made using a fluid simulation program Rexjericho also developed. That part of it does the math, and then when you plug the results into Blender—an open-source computer animation program—you can get result...

Re: Most reliable Hard Drives for 2015

They did say that the 4TB drives seemed to be the hard drive choice. But for home usage that is a lot of data to have fail is something goes wrong.

Premiere Elements 14 and Steve Grisetti's videos and books

Steve has a way of breaking down the steps in a pretty easy to understand way. I am still trying to juxtapose his relaxed manner with his teenage years protecting mob informants.... :whew:

Re: 360 TB disc

It does seem rather mind boggling that this is possible. But it looks like it is only a one time write. It will be interesting to see how this progresses.

Re: Nesting Hummingbird

Thanks Ron. I think I sat there about 15-20 minutes before the hummingbird came back to her nest. Using the app was nice because I did not have to press record until I saw the bird start to come to the nest.

Re: Nesting Hummingbird

I want to see the babies when they hatch !!!

Me too... I am hoping I can time it right and capture the footage. I also happened to find a bird nest in a lemon tree. No eggs but it might be a bit early. I just keep my eye on that one too. I think spring time is the best time of year.
