Re: Sharing & Burning DVD in PRE 12

The gap that Steve refers to can be as little as a single frame. These small gaps can happen accidentally during editing and might not be noticeable when you're in a zoomed out view. Zoom in and check each cut in the timeline carefully.

Re: Music Video Fridays, Music Memories and Obituaries!!!

That was a sad one. I loved the Moody Blues. They just recently broadcast a concert on PBS and I was impressed at how well they still sound together. Ray will be missed. I saw that concert. They still sounded amazing. I was thinking of purchasing it on disc. I don't buy movie discs anymore, but I d...

Re: Music Video Fridays, Music Memories and Obituaries!!!

Oh my. Ray Thomas, flautist, singer, and founding member of The Moody Blues passes at age 76. One of those voices that brings back my youth, and many fond memories. Rest In Peace Ray, and thanks for everything.

Re: Rose Bowl Flyover

That's a really cool shot. What an aircraft. :TU:

Caught the last quarter and the overtimes. Wow, what a nail biter. Wasn't too thrilled about the idea of Oklahoma winning after our devastating loss to them early in the season. Glad to see Georgia pull that one out.

Re: Saving Individual Clips

It sounds like you're asking if you can save parts of your timeline as clips within PrEl without outputting them as a separate file. Like a bin within the program that you can draw parts of a project from. The answer to that is no. And PrEl won't allow you to copy parts of one project and then open ...

Re: Saving Individual Clips

The original videographer put the clips there by creating his/her own folder structure and naming system for organizing clips and saved them there. Whether the clips were created ahead and inserted into a project or whether they are created from scratch within a project is pretty much immaterial. If...

Re: Sophie - Holding up the World

VERY nicely done. I remember seeing this in the news but I wouldn't have remembered her from the mural. Steve, your narration chose the right tone at the right moment. :TU:

Re: Saving Individual Clips

I can see the Work Area Bar in your screen shot (see below). I've circled the handles on both ends of the WAB. The handles can be dragged back and forth to select only the part of the video that you want to export. Did you watch the tutorial?

Re: Saving Individual Clips

I think what you want is under Publish and Share instead of File. There's a tool on the timeline called the Work Area Bar that will allow you to select only a portion of your timeline. Then under Publish and Share you specify that you want to export the Work Area Bar section only. This tutorial is f...

Re: Downtown Panorama

Yeah, you're right about that John. I tend to wake after about 4 or 5 hours and not be able to get back to sleep. With some of the best quiet time at that hour I often take advantage of the opportunity to work or browse. Then later I'll go back to bed and finish out my sleep. Not my preference, but ...

Re: Fade Out not working

Mom’s solution is a good one. If you ever do need to export just a section of your timeline set the Work Area Bar to just that section and then in the export options select Work Area Bar only. No need to delete anything.
