Have you tried selecting "Do not quantize to frames for audio-only edits", if I recall it is somewhere under Options/Preferences .

And if you do come over make sure to bring an umbrella... and a warm coat. It will still be cold and most likely wet!!! It doesn't really get warm here until the end of August and then starts getting cold the beginning of September... :)

Right click on the clip in the Pan Crop window and set "Match Output Aspect Ratio" rather than "Source" apect ratio... not at my computer right now so cant be sure of exact wording.

Well I need to finish my 2012 year summary compilation. I generally try to finish it for the New Year but last year it went uncompleted... we just viewed what I had completed at the time. That should keep me busy for January anyway :)

The project may take longer to load as it has to "associate" all the links and media but once you have the timeline up it will have no impact on the responsiveness, speed or performance.
