2007 video contest

I posted an entry for the 2007 contest. Flat Stanley takes a trip to San Francisco. In our case Flat Stanley wanted to be in movies. So camcorder in hand, off we went. The Flat Stanley Project is a group of teachers who want to provide students with a meaningful reason to write. I hope you enjoy. Sidd

I have a Sony HC1 and it is a huge jump forward to go to HD. One I looked at the footage on the plasma TV and I was hooked. I could almost count the hairs on my sons head it was so clear. It is my understanding that the new Sony’s do a better job in low light too. I also was able to set my old camco...

Very Cool Ed I like the way that it was your real eye and not just a picture of the eye.

My only comment would be to maybe make the images go faster as the video progresses. But still very very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Rusty, I realize that the thread is a bit old but....this looks really cool. I could see some keyframing it so that her image is always in the flames. Then black out the surrounding video so it looks like she is part of the flames. Kind of like in the movies and the old Indian Chief is sitting aroun...

it is 15.282MB

I have tried to upload it several times and I must be doing something stupid, but I can't figure it out.

I click on the Gallery, then upload video. I get the browse boxes and select my file click continue then nothing.

Hi I am From San Jose, CA I have been making and recording the living history of my children in movies and pictures from their birth to the present which is about 6 years. I am a huge fan of telling my story in 5 minutes or less which is about the attention span of most conversations. It is easier t...

I stumbled upon a website that gives the basic layout and how to build one on the cheap. I have modified his design. After I got wrist fatigue from carrying the weight of the counterbalance, I switched to an inexpensive aluminum telescoping monopod. I attached the quick release mechanism from an old...

Don't forget the long steadicam shots like those seen in the TV show "The West Wing" or "ER". The fluidity and grace of those shots makes you feel like you are in the shot too. I understand that this is an especially diffucult shot to master, but even small flying shots slowed do...
