Re: My printer stopped working.

Well done Bob. =D> =D> =D>

I think it such a shame that we seem to live in a "throwaway rather than repair" society.

Re: Seagate releases massive 12TB hard disk drive

Apologies for thread (quasi) hijack. Also new from IBM :-D (actually this came out in the mid 1980s :-8 I particularly like the "wholly-owned subsidiary" phrase.) The following is a running dialogue that went on over VMSHARE - a computer conferencing system available to IBM installations w...

Re: Pyro Link

...Though some days I do miss those simpler days when miniDV was cutting edge technology and FireWire was the ONLY way to capture quality video. I'm still at that point! As I only record in HD I haven't had much inclination to upgrade my camera to a 4k model. Likely I'll keep going with my Sony HVR...

Seems that Steve and I have made different assumptions about the type of file that you have successfully saved to the desktop. Can you provide a little more info to clear up the confusion?

Re: not able to burn finished video protect in premiere 12

First thought is that there is a tiny gap in the timeline.

Try zooming in and then check for a small space (maybe only one frame) that remains between two adjacent clips.

Rendering is essentially a CPU intensive process so I would advise looking at a more powerful CPU than the one that shows in the PC that you found at Fry's. Doesn't have to be "state of the art, top of range". Just my twopennyworth. :-D

Re: Maiden Voyage

That's some backyard you've got there. How many full time gardeners do you employ? :-D Of course it is Sidd's back yard :---) . I recall it being used on many of Sidd's previous videos! :-D The gardeners wandering around added a nice scale factor but I would definitely be having words with those tw...
