Otherwise the fact that the error occurs at the end of the process indicates that the issue is most likely happening durin...

Re: Another ? for Steve re what's written in his book

Hi, George. This is a community forum, so we usually ask that people ask general questions for the community rather than to specific individuals. 1) You should be able to turn off the Auto Analyzer by unchecking all of the options in the preferences for the Organizer and Premiere Elements. 2) I don'...

Re: Rendering

Though before you upgrade your hardware, you may want to download the free trial of version 2018 (or version 14 or 15, if you can find them) and see if it plays any nicer with your system. It's much cheaper to buy a new copy of the program (especially if you can get version 14 or 15 or on discount) ...

Re: Rendering

This was a problem with version 12 that was later remedied. Sometimes ensuring you have Quicktime 7 can fix it. But it's a version 12 thing to be sure (though I'm not sure it was completely fixed until version 14.)

Re: Question for Steve re the separate v the combined Elemen

Prior to the 2018 version of Premiere Elements/Photoshop Elements, we published two Guides for each version: A Premiere Elements book and a combined Premiere Elements/Photoshop Elements book. The Premiere Elements book ran 250-300 pages and was in full color. The combined book included the entirety ...
