Re: Making a Flash Drive for TV use.

Additionally, I'd recommend you output to your computer then copy it over to your flash drive rather that outputtting directly to it. At this very least this gives you chance to check the video. And, as Peru pointed out, if you flash drive isn't formatted for larger files, outputting to your compute...

Re: transferring photoshop catalog

I've never done it myself. But if you've backed up the drive using the Organizer on your old computer and then used the Organizer to restore it to your new computer, it should maintain all of the links, keywords and other metadata. I'm not sure why it's not working that way for you.

Re: Premiere elements 2024

I'm probably not understanding your problem, Rebecc. I'm not clear which tool you're using to create your Pan & Zoom and what you are trying to accomplish.

Can you post a link to a YouTube video that shows what effect you are trying to create?

Re: Synchronizing audio and video - an observation.

I did some tests using MediaInfo and it appears that the default settings create file with variable frame rates, which may be contributing to the out ot sync issues. Try creating a custom setting using essentially the same or default specs for an MP4. Even if one exists, create a custom MP4 setting ...

Re: preview frame stays black

Sorry for your issues, Skip. But glad to hear that apparently they've resolved themselves. Let us know if you're still having problems. And meantime go to the AMD or nVidia site and ensure you have the latest drivers and firmware for your graphics card. Outdated drivers are the main cause of this ty...

Re: Synchronizing audio and video - an observation.

PowerDirector is much more diverse when it comes to handling different codecs. Premiere Elements might exhibit issues with those MP4s that PowerDirector doesn't. I'll look deeper into the specs of MP4s captured by PowerDirector when I have a chance and see what I can see. Did you use an existing cap...

Re: Synchronizing audio and video - an observation.

I've never experienced that myself, Ted. The MP4s that PowerDirector creates should be perfectly compatible with Premiere Elements. Have you tried converting one of the problematic MP4s to a standard MP4 using Handbrake, just to see if that fixes the problem? I suppose it is possible that the MP4s P...

Re: AVCHD to disc

I still don't think you're going to be able to output BluRay disc files from Premiere Elements 2021, Richard. At least discs that you can play on a standard BluRay player. To create a BluRay you're going to have to use a third-party app like TMPGEnc Authoring Works. https://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/e...
